What is the purpose of CFCMIHelp.com?
The website name says it all,
My name is Phil Davis, and I was a member of Christian Fellowship Church Ministries, International (CFCMI) from 1985-2001. I teamed with a group of former members to build this site, and we are here exclusively to help anyone who has ever come in contact with CFCMI with anything they need. While there are organizations similar to Christian Fellowship out there, our focus is exclusively on CFCMI, as that is where our direct, deep personal experience lies. We can talk to this organization from a perspective of having decades of first-hand experience as active, involved members. And we will always tell you the truth.
The more things change…
A patently abusive organization from its inception, there is more to CFCMI than meets the eye. Through revealing the truth, particularly about the organization's structure, tactics and leadership, we believe we can help facilitate informed, balanced decision making. Along the way, we aim to answer lingering, nagging questions, resolve guilt and self-doubt, provide an affirming sense of community, and, if necessary, help along the road to recovery.
Yes, much of the information on this site is dated and CFCMI has changed with the times, but the core organizational structure, which has facilitated abuse for decades, remains largely in place, making the content here as relevant as ever.

We've got nothing to hide and there are no ulterior motives. Still, deciding to go forward with this process was a very difficult decision. Ultimately, we feel there is a need to provide resources to victims and former members, many of whom may have been "beating themselves up" about leaving or had doubts about whether to return. We want to make sure that all those with CFCMI contact realize that they are not alone.
Our message to former members and victims of abuse within the organization is that there are people who have "been there" and are willing to help, even if all that is needed is to say "Hello" to an old friend or laugh at a crazy story or two.
